Moving to Nashville

The time has come for me to make the move to Nashville. For the last two years, I've been playing with an amazing artist/songwriter by the name of Eric Lee Beddingfield. In those two years I have made many contacts, new friends and met some amazing musicians. With that being said, I have made the decision to make the move to a town I have grown to love and respect. Nashville has had some rough times in the past month or so due to the flooding and they didn't receive the media of government attention that it should have but thats ok. It is one of the most amazing cities and the way the people there came together to rise above and help each other just shows one more reason that I love that place. We Are Nashville and that can't be taken away. If you ever want to take a road trip to a city that will surprise and amaze you, go to Nashville! You will not be let down.
Take care and best wishes,

Tony

Nashville Floods

The recent flooding in Nashville and other middle Tennessee cities has been devastating. Due to friends I have made in that beautiful city, I have seen many first hand pictures and videos of the devastation, yet I have not heard hardly anything from the media about it. I read this great article the other day (We Are Nashville) which helped spark a movement in the Nashville community.

Since then, I have seen all of the posts of Tennesseans helping each other in ways that could teach us all a few lessons. This is America, If we would all help each other in the way these people have the world be a much better place not just as Americans but as Human Beings.

With that being said, Nashville and the surrounding areas still need your help. Any help is appreciated. Most of these people need simple items such as tooth brushes, tooth paste etc. They are on water conservation due to the floods contaminating the water so Baby wipes is another great item.  At the bottom of this note I will post a few links to some photos and video of the devastation. I will also post links to a few sites where you can make donations as well as find out other ways you can help.

Last but not least, here is a recent post from a friend in the Nashville area. Simply Amazing people.
"
~So, without national news coverage, without days of hype, the people of this beautiful city are rolling up our sleeves, joining hands, and digging deep. The Channel 4 News put on an impromptu telethon last night. LOCALY ONLY mind you, and the people here donated $1.7! I have never been more proud of a community. We're not waiting for you Washington. You take your time. We have lives to rebuild. WE ARE NASHVILLE!"

Got a challenge for ya!

Whats up everybody!
I want to see how fast I can get to 1,000 Fans on Facebook- and I need your help. (we're already up almost 400!)
First step - click on over to Tony Mason on Facebook and become a FAN yourself..
Then - I'm sure you've already done it, but please "suggest to friends" to become a fan of Tony on there. The best way I've found is to use your friend lists with the "filter friends" tab on the left side of the pop up box - once you do that you can choose "select all" from each list.
Its a bit of a pain in the butt, but it’ll be worth it, I promise!
So help me, help you and just do it! and encourage all your friends to do the same! :)
Suggest me to all your fb friends and let's impress ourselves!
You can also check out my new Youtube page and subscribe to my channel and add yourself as a friend. The Youtube page can be found by clicking the following link. Official Tony Mason Youtube Channel
